Near Misses (Part 3) [Best of 2010]
Posted by ThatsMyJamRadio on December 25, 2010
From our perspective, 2010 was a good year for music. While we’d like to think that was reflected on That’s My Jam’s Dance, Pop, R&B and Top 10 charts, but a few songs slipped through the cracks and managed to evade all of them! Here, we recognize 7 of 21 near misses that should have charted.
Erykah Badu
“Window Seat”
A controversial video on the strip tip.
Sia
“Clap Your Hands”
We applaud this upbeat party-starter.
Shontelle
“Impossible”
Pain has never been so pleasurable.
Sade
“Soldier of Love”
She only speaks when she has something to sing about. So worth the 10-year wait!
Estelle
“Freak”
International urbantronica at it’s finest and most dance-inspiring.
Ace of Base
“All for You”
New members, evolved sound, hot hit.
Robin Thicke feat. Estelle
“Rollacoasta”
Smooth, funky and fun — and the song isn’t bad, either.
