Posted by ThatsMyJamRadio on December 23, 2011
2011 was a decent year for music, though there was plenty of room for improvement — but we digress. We take pride in That’s My Jam’s Dance, Pop, R&B and Top 10 charts reflecting the best of the best each month, but our end-of-the-year wrap-up never fails to reveal that some songs are elusive and evade charting! Here, we recognize 7 of 21 near misses that should have been on at least one of That’s My Jam’s charts.

“Found My Light” (Layabouts Vocal Mix)
Soulful sounds are always welcome in our house … music.
Arash feat. Helena
“Broken Angel”
Cultures collaborate rather than clash for this upbeat, international ballad.
Beyoncé

Chromeo
“Hot Mess”
Reviving retro synths with each new track.
Patrick Stump feat. Lupe Fiasco
